Caleb- LOOK AT THAT FACE!!!!!!  Caleb is a beautiful Beagle!   He is a real sweetheart.  He does require a secure fence or an owner dedicated to taking him out on leash as like all Beagle's he is driven by his nose and if he were to get out, he'd most likely wander off exploring all the smells.   Caleb is a bit chubby right now but he's on a diet and doing just great!   This is a GOOD dog!   He's just looking for someplace new to call home!

Troost - Troost is a beautiful Shepherd/Rottie mix with maybe some Blue Heeler thrown in for good measure!  He is a sweet dog with very expressive eyes!  He has speckles on his legs which make him look like he's wearing speckled socks.  He loves other dogs and people and is just a joy to watch play, a very happy go lucky sort of dog!   Can you find room in your heart for Troost? 

JONNA - Jonna is a very brave girl!   Jonna was one of six dogs running loose on a rural farm.  Jonna is the only one to make it out alive.  Jonna has come a LONG way, she was at first very fearful of everything having probably not been indoors or having had alot of positive human contact in her lifetime, she had adapted beautifully and has learned to trust humans and is just a joy to watch blossoming into a regular dog.  Jonna is going to need some special attention and patience, but she is going to make someone a WONDERFUL dog as she is a sweetheart!  If you are patient and willing to devote yourself to helping this dog live the life she deserves, I guarantee you will not be disappointed as she is going to love you with every ounce of her soul.  This one is very special!  Give us a call if you are interested in this wonderful girl!

Harry - Harry is a handsome devil!  He was found wandering the streets of Kansas City Kansas and was almost completely hairless when found as he had a horrible yeast infection covering most of his body.  He was named Harry because we were looking forward to the happier - more hairy times ahead.  As you can see his hair is coming back and he's a beautiful golden color!  Harry is very sweet, very laid back and gets along great with other dogs.  He certainly won't start a fight, but he probably won't back away from one either which is a by product of his time living on the streets and having to fend for himself.  Harry was heartworm positive and has undergone his heartworm treatment and is recovering from that nicely.  If you are interested in giving this good looking dude a new home, give us a call!

Mac - Mac is a very striking looking dog, we believe to be a Rottie/Shepherd mix.  He gets along great with other dogs and is a bit shy around new people at first.  He warms up quickly though and just wants to be loved.   If you are interested in Mac give us a call!

Barnum -  Barnum is a handsome boy!  Look at that face!  Barnum is a hound mix of some sort, he's a big boy weighing in at around 65lbs.  He is a great dog, but will need to go to someone with a privacy fence or someone willing to walk him on leash as he can jump a standard chain link fence.  He has been neutered so his wandering days may be coming to a close in the near future. Barnum is epileptic and will require daily medication for the rest of his life.  The cost of the medicine is not high but will need to be purchased for him monthly.  He is a great dog and deserves a chance at a wonderful life.   Barnum would make a great companion!   If you are interested in Barnum give us a call!

Easy D -  Easy has the most soulful eyes I've ever seen, they are a beautiful amber color just like him.  Easy was found tied to a rock by the side of a lonely road in the middle of a big thunderstorm.  He was a mess, soaked to the bone, both ears split nearly in two and infected, scars on his face, skinny, full of parasites, just a mess.   Through it all though he is very laid back and calm...hence the name Easy D.   We believe it is possible he got his wounds from being used as a bait dog for some idiot with a fighting dog, either that or he was attacked by dogs in the past while out on the streets.  I say attacked because Easy D doesn't seem to pay any attention to other dogs.  No agression, no curiosity, nothing, its like if he pretends they don't exist they will not harm him.  He'd probably do best as an only dog or with a dog that will have patience in trying to win him over.  If you are interested in Easy give us a call.

Winnie -  Winnie is a beautiful red nosed Pit Bull and is just the sweetest dog in the world!   She is the trifecta of dogs.....she loves everyone, people, dogs and cats.    To know this dog is to love her!  She is definately an ambassador for her breed and proof positive that you cannot condemn and entire breed of dog for the actions of a few.   She is one of those special dogs that don't come around all that often.   Please find room in your heart for this girl, she is fabulous and absolutely deserves to have a wonderful life!
